Jun 05, 2026"Lovely coffee shop! If you’re in the area, it’s worth stopping by. I got an iced honey latte which was not too sweet, and a cinnamon bun which was so good! Flaky, tasty, I loved it. Service was 10/10. And very calm atmosphere, with some cute decorations!"

May 16, 2026"I stopped by today for a coffee, it was my first time. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They have a good menu with a variety of coffees, and they also sell pastries. They have a few tables with outlets that can be utilized for working. The place is nicely decorated with paintings. I ordered a dirty chai latte and it was pretty good."

Mar 09, 2026"We stumbled on this coffee shop on a day trip to the Met Cloisters (only an 8 minute drive away) on a very snowy and cold day, and thank God we did!! I got a dirty chai and my mom got an Americano, both were delicious. I love a dirty chai where you can actually taste both the coffee AND spices! I also got a cardamom bun and WOW, cannot recommend enough. However, despite the amazing coffee and food, the real reason we decided two days later to drive 30 minutes out of our way to visit Kuro Kirin again was the atmosphere and baristas. The shop is so cute, decorated with lots of giraffes and local artists' paintings and pottery. When you visit I recommend sitting in the front window so the sun can shine on your face and keep you warm (and you can people watch of course). But best of all, the baristas create an environment that feels like you are just hanging out with your friends, chatting and laughing, both with each other and with customers. Overall, I wish I could pick this coffee shop up and move it all the way to Boston, just so I could hang out there every day :,) Thank you guys!!"
